www.ilmcast.com Lecture by Riad Ouarzazi on how to have an outstanding marriage life. Riad Ouarzazi was born in Casablanca, Morocco and, after achieving Islamic education degrees from M. Abdullah University, moved to the States in 1988, where he pursued a BA in International Management and a Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems. He was very active in the da’wah work and acted as the Media coordinator for the Islamic society of San Francisco. He studied the Islamic Creed under Sheikh Waleed Basyouni, and Fiqh under Sheikh Waleed Idrees both of whom are teachers at the American Open Univeristy. He moved to Canada in 2001 and became quite active in the Islamic work, conducting lectures and khutbas in several masjids in the GTA. Currently he is concentrating on the science of Hadeeth. http

I like the metaphore of a ship, but I think the Imam made a mistake to presume that the man is the captain. I think many times women make better captains in any field, so it should not be presented as a fact that the man is the captain…….so I was a bit dissappointed by this ‘old fashoined’ remark!

Do you realize how the lecture focuses on pleasing the wife more over the husband? That is because if the husband is happy only one person is happy, but if the wife is happy the entire household is happy

asalamu aleikum…did you listen to the whole video? Obviously not;otherwise, you would have heard the story behind what he said in the beginning. Your comment is a clear example of how lots of non-Muslims (and Muslims, too) react. They hear a piece and jump to conclusions without taking time to listen and learn. Allah swt knows, indeed. Please be a good example and be thorough in your responses. This means stop and listen completely, then use the right info to clarify the truth. Watch the video
