How to do marriage ceremony based on Chinese tradition?
Hi all,
I and my boyfriend are planning on marriage, but we confuse about the tradition. We are both Chinese. Anybody knows about the arrangement, start from proposing, family gathering, until the day of marriage and what should we prepare? we also live at different city. Oh, we are going to have only a simple ceremony. Thanks for the answer.

you mean an “american” wedding influenced by chinese traditions? my cousin did that. he spoke both english and chinese at the wedding, had karaoke, and the bride wore a western style dress. also, the groom proposed with an actual engagement ring. there was lots of chinese food and smoking there.
