@Freekymunky, Lol. Something tells me ur not taking this seriously.
Anyway, those 4 points I mentioned R part of a multitude that continue to baffle Evolutionary theorists. The problem is, it is not so much the facts, but the way a persons worldview causes him to interpret the facts. If you take a step back & look at the real world as u say, take off ur evolutionary glasses,
& think 4 urself. Many teach evolution as fact, but a Theory is just a possibility, nothing more. Don’t buy into it.

I want to smack your mother for shooting you out her vag. Your argument is that the CHRISTIAN bible doesn’t support gay marraige. You are going by a single religion.

My point is, you can’t base a law by one religion. Did you even think that other religions might actually support gay marriage? Most bhuddists and new age religious groups (christian, jewish, ect.) also support gay marriage!

How can you not support free exercise of religion? Such blasphemy!

@torack Lol really? do you believe in santa claus as well?
theres “proof” for him to right.
a) Theres a north pole.
b) deer look like reindeer
c) i like cocoa pebbles. Cuz there good (especially i like the milk after words)
d) most importantly Mommy told me he was real.

FYI this is how you look to the rest of us that actual step back and look at the world.

I absolutely love this blog. Very humorous while at the same time making some very valid, intelligent, very common sense points. Well done.

1) FALSE. Evidence for a 6000 year old earth is evident all over the globe. Here’s a couple to get Ur research started.
a) The continents are eroding too quickly.
b) There is not enough helium in the atmosphere.
c) Fossil records point to a global flood: Look up Experiments in stratification by Guy Berthault & Pierre Julien. Totally blow the uniformitarian view (The Geological Colum) to pieces.
d) The oceans are nowhere near salty enough.

2) Also false. All evidence points to the opposite.

@Torack007 1) There is no evidence for a 6000 year old earth
2) you are a moron.

It really sickens me that 90% of my state voted to ban gay marriage.

Depends, some people are offended by it and some people aren’t.

Words change over time and do their meaning. Look at the word “Gay” it used to mean happy or joyful and now its used as a negative or word for homosexuals. Marriage has changed don’t be so closed minded.

@BlackKingX, U are wrong. Our definition of fact is exactly the same. You’re mixing up Fact & Conclusion. That God exists is a Conclusion, not a fact in itself. While I could go on listing the Facts that lead to that Conclusion, it seems as if you are avoiding my direct questions by dancing around the subject.

FYI there is plenty of evidence that points to God. Aside from that, Moses saw him, Jesus saw him, (& returned to life) and more I’m sure. All undisputed historical Facts.

It’s imposible for gay man to marry a gay man or a lesbian to marry a lesbian because the word marrage means a man and a woman getting together, calling it gay marrage is a paradox because that would be a gay man marrying a lesbian woman, hey, don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against gays, they can do what ever they want, i’m just saying that they should just make some other legal thing for gay people to come together.

I am a designer, full of creativity and artistic flair. I am constantly mistaken for being gay, so I would fit into the category ur trying to defend. I did not decide being Gay is wrong, that is what the Bible says.

I do not simply peruse Google whenever I need information. My knowledge comes from over 6 years of research. By asking people to Google, I am encouraging them to research for themselves, and think using their own minds.

FYI I removed the space cause I had low character limit.

1) The ACT of creating the woman was pretty much cloning. But the point was marriage occurred after, and was there from the beginning. Yes, I believe the universe is less then 5800 years old, there is evidence.
2) FALSE. The same evidence used to support evolution can also be used to support creation. The supposed million year old fossils have most likely being buried by water-borne sediment during the global Flood of Noahs day, around 4,500 years ago. My fav subject, but for another video.

@AngryRantingNerd
ah, but if they understand that it is a choice they then cant use that logic against them, if it were a choice it would be easier for people to abuse them

No, but it was the first thing that came to mind.

It’s not irrelevant, because the situation is static. Many, many parents have started out thinking their child’s homosexuality is an abomination/an evil choice/a sickness and then become educated to understand differently, and often then to accept their child and support their feelings, relationships and rights.
About your last sentence - saying it’s not a choice is not the same as saying it’s a disease. Me being born straight doesn’t make my heterosexuality a disease.

@Torack007 express yourself creativity or being secure in your sexuality you are automatically gay and thus wrong disgusts me. You are an idiot for simply perusing google whenever you need some information instead of actually looking into a source of credibility such as the bible or the Talmud or etc. Also, homo sapiens is two words, FYI.

@Torack007
1) That isn’t marriage, that is cloning. Shit shes pretty much his sister. Furthermore, according to the bible, the universe is less then 5800 years old.
2) Every single piece of evidience found about evolution only affirms its credibility, but that is a debate for another video.
3) I’m angry and straight. The fact that there are retards who decide that being gay is wrong and that if you are free to…

Was that reply intended for kenjesuita? Came to me, but seems related to his post, not mine. I don’t think it’s hard to get why it’s important, but I agree with you that the important thing is not to understand why gays care about that - rather the important point is to accept it when they tell you it wasn’t their choice, because they know themselves and their own experience better than others.

its only gonna be funny for the congressmen to watch the gay guys squirm until they snap…think about it

@ NoNameC68
WTF are you talking about? Marriage is part of every religion you mentioned. So I think that if you re-read your aguement you will find that it is full of fallacy, has no clear direction and makes no sense the way you phrased any of that. I get the impression that you don’t even know what your talking about in most of that 2 part paragraph. What did you do; copy and paste random stuff off of wikipedia or something to support an argument that you don’t fully understand?

And those studies have been followed up and verified, Gender Role Conflict and Psychological Well-Being among Gay Men (Vincke, 2000) reported, “Gay men with less gender role conflict… reported fewer symptoms of anger, anxiety, and depression.”

Disclosure Disconnects: Antecedents and Consequences of Disclosing Invisible Stigmas Across Life Domains (Ragins 2008) would be a good read too, lest you think “passing” as straight is acceptable.

Ever seen the episode of South Park “With Apologies to Jesse Jackson”? It’s kind of like how Stan kept trying to understand why it’s not okay to use the n-word. He just doesn’t get it. And that’s exactly what he had to understand - he didn’t understand.

You just don’t get how important it is to gay people that it wasn’t/isn’t a choice. Why does it matter if it’s a choice or not? You’re not supposed to get it.

I have. The conclusion wasn’t that they weren’t born gay, it was that they couldn’t identify whether they were gay from their genetics. And these are completely different things. Just because we don’t have a cure for cancer doesn’t mean they it doesn’t exist. And furthermore, what exactly was your quote, Google is not a reliable source - it’s a source engine, and you said yourself you haven’t done the research, so why should you even have a say? Oh, that’s right, because you blindly believe.

you know whats funny? if you look through the comments, there was a guy who sourced and dated research in 1997 that confirm that being gay means you are four more times likely to be deppressed, and three times likely to be suicidal, etc, i dont remember it exactly, but it was on those lines.
