Finding a Soulmate

This week’s episode features an email from a Christian man married 20 years who believes that he’s found his “soul mate”and it’s not his wife! Watch and see what Mark and Debbie have to say to about the cultural acceptance of adultery and the stinking thinking that is widespread even in churches. In this day and age when so many people make their decisions based on feelings and the need to be happy, hear why it’s vitally important that we use the Bible as our point of reference. Mark also uses the account of Jesus’ birth to illustrate where God is during our times of hardship and misery and how our comfort level has nothing to do with what is right or wrong in any given situation.

I don’t agree. The Bible teaches that sex is good great in fact and that things get more complicated when there’s more than two ppl involved. If you want to know what the judeo/christian God thinks about sex read song of solomon.

@AloutkaKazawa As with me ~ Whatever YOU want to believe is YOUR choice.. The same for WHO you want to believe in.. It has/will Always be a Personal choice.. And YES; I would hope that you do expect the most.. The promises will still be there ,,,

@geek5651 Do you take a possibility that I might not be a believer of your faith yet to know your faith? Or I expect too much?

@AloutkaKazawa For your own interpretation, Not anyone elses.. Reason , God created marriage and sex.. It is man that perverted it.. Please read Malachi 3 v6 Where God states He does Not change.. and 1st Corinthians 6 v 9and 10.. You choose how to interpret it… And Actually ~ We are ALL under the same law and ALL the same..

@wcr4 I was ironic… Do you realize that even Nazi had “God with us” on their belts? Don’t you think that in history too many wrongdoers used God’s name to justify their deeds - crusades, conquer, missions in Africa, are among those disastrous situations. And many others.

@geek5651
God may be not, but we are - and our interpretations of God’s will. (And our concepts of Gods too). And I don’t believe that Judeo-Christian concept of God and marriage is better than any other. Actually, it’s very useful to make us believe that sex is bad, adultery is bad - who controls our sex controls us.

@AloutkaKazawa What do you mean, “following ‘God’s principles’ led us to many disastrous situations?”

Nothing wrong with liking chick flicks, you can still have a pair I know because I like chick flicks and also fighting, they are both fun

To AloutkaKazawa: Reguardless of your thoughts about Mark , What the bible says about adultry is still fact.. People corrupt the word by trying to make exceptions; But , God doesn’t change..

He puts everything like he knows everything - it’s hillarious most of the time, and very convincing some time, yet I disagree - following “God’s principles” led us to many disastrous situations - just for the lack of feelings, he seems to underestimate.
